St Martin's Primary School

Achievement through effort

Head Teacher Headteacher's welcome
Rachel Matthews

Welcome to St Martin’s Primary School.

It is both a pleasure and a privilege to welcome you to our school community. At St Martin’s, we are proud to offer a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best.

Our school is a place where children are happy, confident learners who feel safe, respected and inspired. We believe that strong relationships, high expectations and a genuine love of learning are at the heart of a successful primary education. Our dedicated and caring staff work closely with pupils, parents and carers to ensure that every child is supported to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

At St Martin’s, we strive to provide a broad, creative and engaging curriculum that develops curiosity, resilience and independence. We place great importance on developing the whole child, encouraging kindness, responsibility and respect for others, alongside a strong foundation in key skills. We aim to prepare our pupils not only for the next stage of their education, but also to be thoughtful, confident and positive members of the wider community.

We value our partnership with parents and carers and believe that open communication and collaboration are essential to supporting children’s success. Whether you are a prospective parent, a new family, or a visitor to our website, we hope this gives you a sense of the warmth and ambition that define our school.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to learn more or arrange a visit. We would be delighted to welcome you to St Martin’s Primary School and to share in everything that makes our school such a special place.

Warm regards,
